The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013

The information we collect about you...

We collect information about you when you make a purchase, or when you sign-up for a mailing list. You provide information about yourself when you complete customer registration or when completing the checkout as a guest. The information may include some or more of your name, address, e-mail address and phone number. Other information, relating to usage of our website, is collected using cookies, a small text files placed on your computer and automatically handled by the browser used to access the website. It may collect standard log information and behaviour information.

The need to collect and use your personal data...

The primary basis of your data collection is for the processing and fulfilment of orders, for updating you about the progress and direct marketing campaigns to promote our goods and services. We require payment information to take payment, process refunds and help prevent fraud. We are unable to process your orders and discharge our part of the contract with you without collecting the relevant information. In all cases, we only use personal data for the purpose for which it has been provided.

Sharing your information...

We will not share or sell your information to anyone unless required to do so via the following conditions:

  • We will forward your personal information to a third party if we are legally obliged to do so. An example may be when a criminal offence such as card fraud is alleged.
  • We pass on your billing address details to our payment gateway processor (PaymentSense and PayPal). This is necessary for our payment gateway processors to complete an AVS check, a check of the registered card address. We are otherwise unable to process your payments. At no time do we collect or store card details. Additionally we do not have access to the payment card information entered on any external payment site (PaymentSense or Paypal).
  • We share your name and delivery address information with our logistics providers (Royal Mail, UKMail, TNT, DPD, Aramex, DHL, MyHermes, Global Logistics, ParcelForce) so that your order can be delivered to you. On occasions, logistics providers may insist on a contact telephone number, which we also share.

Keeping hold of your information...

Your personal data will not be held for longer than required under the terms of our contract with you. Our contract is considered to be current while you retain a customer account with us, so that you may view previous orders and the personal data held. You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. This can self administered via functions provided within your customer account or by contacting us via email. We will comply with all requests, subject to any legal necessities to retain it.

Access to the information we hold about you...

Under GDPR, you have the right to request a copy of information held about you. This can be self administered via your customer account page or you can write to us using the contact forms on our websites. We are obliged to ensure that your personal data is accurate and current. If anything is out of date or inaccurate, you can ask us to correct it.

Disclosure

We will not use, or sell to or share with any third party, any user information collected in a manner inconsistent with the privacy policy in effect at the time that such user information was collected.
